    Can any Guild Members or Guild Leaders give me some insight on how to start/run a Guild of my own?

    Friday, June 26, 2009, 8:01 PM [General]

    I've been interested in guilds in general for a while now, but I'm interested in starting one of my own now. I have a good hand full of folks (all about my age) already who are interested in being a part and all of whom have theatrical background or an interest in history and the arts. We're eager and very adamant on getting our act and mission together in time for next season's smaller faires. Buuut I've never ran my own guild, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on how to go about doing that? If so, please contact me! You can comment here or PM me or e-mail me at umkailee@hotmail.com :)

    I love Joann's Fabrics. Period.

    Monday, June 15, 2009, 4:23 PM [General]

    I went on an excursion today to Joann's to pick up a few things and I ended up leaving with a buttload of stuff instead. Why? Because there was 50% off of like, EVERYTHING and ALL of the Simplicity patterns were $1.99 each :D

    So, naturally I couldn't resist XD

    I took advantage of the sale while I could and stocked up on some neat stuff that'll definitely come in handy. Including these really awesome 18th Century gown and corset patterns that I've been wanting for the longest time, but hadn't picked up until now. (Especially since it's original price is $17-something.)

    I'm probably going to go back later again this week and pick up some more. The sale lasts 'til the 20th so... YAAAAAAAY JOANN'S!!! =}

    Aye and thank ye too. I did find me way back home port only to sail again to Long Beach fer the Pirate Dayz on the Pier. Barely had time to get the smells of Pirate Fest out of me clothes and off I go Piratin' again. Arr a Pirate's life is a wonderful life.

    I thank ye, lass -- just a first small step towards becoming famous. Or is that infamous? Time will tell.

    And, ye seem to know your way around pirates. So when will ye be in Texas next?

    ;-)
